After seeing these I would have to say that it is looking very good so far for ASICS and in particular the Gel-Lyte III (Lee posted about another colorway) models are getting more noticed these days. Following up to the highly anticipated Ronnie Fieg project, it’s a good change of atmosphere to see this understated black version. Synthetic leather uppers are separated into smooth and perforated textures and the color scheme almost reminds us of outdoor or work boots. The round laces in orange/yellow, cream midsoles and brown outsoles work well together to form a mature aesthetic.
