As we continue to grow with our City we encounter fascinating individuals who share a deep passion for their SOLE and the history of where the culture has come from to where it stands today.

In this series of sneaker diaries we had the opportunity to sit down with a stock broker who works in the financial district and goes by the name of Kenrick Slyvestre.  They say you can never judge a book by its cover – this holds true when you see Kenrick as based off his Harry Rosen suits and his work environment you would never think he is a sneaker connoisseur, but if you took a deeper look, your eyes would see his icy sole.

In the video below he shares his thoughts on when he identified with the Sneaker Culture, what his thoughts on the Sneaker Culture in Toronto are, when it’s acceptable to wear sneakers and his saddest sneaker story.

Look out for more sneaker diaries/journals to come from Toronto Loves Kicks this summer. We promise to bring you some exciting footage and as always don’t forget to join the conversation @TDotLovesKicks.
